Our experience Victory star was excellent  – Our experience with this cruise was excellent – great food, good service, luxury room. Would recommend the three day cruise as the best part was the middle day on a day boat seeing less touristy areas and kayaking through caves and lagoons. However; reading the other recent negative reviews of this company (which we hadn’t seen before booking) it is definitely the same company, and same manager. So it seems that it can be a bit hit and miss, either that or they’ve now sorted their act out. Our experience was a brilliant romantic three days on the bay so I can’t say don’t use them – maybe book with caution. One way or another if you’re going to North-East Vietnam make sure you get to see Halong Bay somehow as it’s worth whatever discomfort you have to go through!
